the bright spot in the lower left part of the picture (on the rock) is a major distraction to me... maybe you should try to remove it.... on the other hand, i totaly love the colors....

Wow, they are truly magnificent animals. It's a shame the bushes/trees on the left were of that kind, whatever kind it is ( ), because they really doesn't fit in with the lion besides that it's pretty much flawless. Great job!

Uhh....wonderful pose of the king of the forest! He seems to be a big narcissist! I'd cropped a little the right side to remove the upper plant...I love the red flowers in the background, they work well with the great color of the lion's fur! Very nice shot! I like it!

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. I've taken them into consideration, and adjusted the image. I have to say, I think the few small changes make for a surprisingly improved image. I forgot to mention, this lion is at Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnett Park, which is in Syracuse, New York.

I love it! For some reason the happy berry tree bushes gives this a more comical or humorous feel for me... which is a nice change from the SERIOUS LION PICTURES I usually see regarding the King of the Jungle! I was away for a week and missed the ORIGINAL shot, but I like this one a lot - ! (I agree with the MoZub - you iz ready for the next step up in Camera Technology as you have got your EYE working goodtime now, girl!)
