Description
This was taken (unfortunately) at the zoo this past weekend. If you look closely at the large version, you can see telltale signs in the background and "cave". I shot this through very thick glass, and was thrilled with how it turned out. Of course, the lion couldn't have looked more regal. I thought this belonged under "figure" more than "nature".

He seems to be a big narcissist!
I'd cropped a little the right side to remove the upper plant...I love the red flowers in the background, they work well with the great color of the lion's fur!
Very nice shot! I like it!

but I agree with Dax, it would be good to remove the right part. And maybe the "cave" that it looks more like a rock (or whatever it is

Take away the handicap of having a 2.1 megapixel pocket cammera! You've earned it with your dedication.

For some reason the happy berry tree bushes gives this a more comical or humorous feel for me... which is a nice change from the SERIOUS LION PICTURES I usually see regarding the King of the Jungle! I was away for a week and missed the ORIGINAL shot, but I like this one a lot - !
(I agree with the MoZub - you iz ready for the next step up in Camera Technology as you have got your EYE working goodtime now, girl!)
